Donations
"Three things are necessary for the salvation of man: to know what he ought to believe; to know what he ought to desire; and to know what he ought to do." Saint Thomas Aquinas (1225 - 1274)
We are funded entirely by voluntary donations and grants, and fundraising. One of the founding principles of DdEF was to unite all Ddeaf people. To do this, communication support (speech to text, BSL interpreter, induction loop) is provided at all our meetings and events. This is essential to ensure that all Ddeaf people are able to fully participate – but it is also very expensive. Communication support for just one meeting costs £100+.
We welcome donations of any amount to support our work in empowering Ddeaf people. Donations can be made by cheque or crossed postal order made payable to ‘Ddeaf Equality Forward’ and sent to DdEF, c/o 44 Park Road, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, S40 1XZ. If you prefer to make a payment by direct bank transfer, please email us for our account details.
Alternately you can make a secure payment online using a UK bank account by credit/debit card using *Nochex by clicking on the Nochex button on the donate online page.
*Nochex is a secure online payment service for which there is no sign-up needed. You can send up to £ 100 instantly using a UK credit or debit card. If you prefer, you can set up a Nochex account (many people use such payment methods for online auction payments etc.), which allows you to receive instant UK card payments, and send up to £ 300 per day.
We thank you for your generosity
