Welcome to the Events section of our website. From here you can find out about our meetings, training, and other events.
Ddeaf Equality Forward (DdEF) holds full meetings on alternate months. At many of our meetings we have guest speakers and discussion forums. You can find details of our meetings and guest speakers on the meetings page. Bi–monthly we also hold executive meetings of our Officers group. DdEF members are also welcome to attend these meetings. You will find a calendar of our meetings on the meetings page.
We also hold training courses as part of our projects. You'll find details of our courses, venues, and an online booking form for the courses on the training page. Our training is open to anyone who is Ddeaf in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire (though if we have spare places on our courses Ddeaf people living outside Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire are welcome to attend. If we have spare places on our courses, people who work with Ddeaf people are also welcome to attend.
On the other events page you'll find details of DdEF's other events and events that we are attending. Other events include our fundraising and awareness raising events and information days.
It was with regret that at this year's AGM on 17th February that we took the decision to wind up Ddeaf Equality Forward.
We're hopeful that another local group for Ddeaf people will be taking over the website shortly, but in the meantime, all of our information will be remaining online, and the online discussion forum remains open. Please see the news page for the full announcement.
