DdEF Meetings
"What we have to do... is to find a way to celebrate our diversity and debate our differences without fracturing our communities." Hillary Clinton
DdEF meetings are open to all members. We always welcome new members. Why don't you come along to a meeting and find out more about us?
Full members meetings are bi–monthly. On alternate months we hold executive meetings of the Officers group which members are welcome to attend.
Meetings, either full members meetings or executive meetings of the Officers group are held each month, except August because of holidays.
All our meetings are on the last Wednesday of each month except December when it is earlier due to holidays.
Meetings are held at Chesterfield Law Centre, 44 Park Road, Chesterfield, Derbyshire. For a map of the area and directions, go to Google™ Local. Here you can see a map of the area and get directions.
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is on the last Saturday of January each year. There may be an extra meeting in January to prepare for the AGM or at any other busy time.
Diary of Meetings
It was with regret that at this year's AGM on 17th February that we took the decision to wind up Ddeaf Equality Forward.
We're hopeful that another local group for Ddeaf people will be taking over the website shortly, but in the meantime, all of our information will be remaining online, and the online discussion forum remains open. Please see the news page for the full announcement.

All of our meetings and events have communication support - BSL interpreters, speech to text, and induction loop.
As part of our Asserting Our Power to Change project we also have a number of training courses and discussion forums. For details of the project and our training courses, click here.
